Misinforming the American Public

I wrote recently of the cut-and-paste "journalism" that I coined for Steve Sailer's style of writing which I discuss in a longer post here: Ethiopia's Independence and Strength.

The very last comment (#58) in Sailer's article Minnesota is Turning into a Front in the Ethiopian Civil War comments section is by:
stephen 🇬🇧
@LFC_blano
Always Loyal ☆ Fortune Favours The Brave ☆
BRITISH AND PROUD
"stephen" has attached a video with his comment:

Of course, besides the non-identification of the statue-destroyers, and the pending investigations by the London police, it is TOTALLY reasonable to associate this vandalism with "Ethiopians" (sarcasm alert).

The language that these vandals are speaking is not Amharic, the official and historical language of Ethiopia, but the regional Oromigna. Thus, clearly and unequivocally, these vandals are Oromo, who, like their counterparts in Addis Ababa, simply wish the destruction of the historical Ethiopia.

Steve Sailer has left this piece of twitter in the comments section of his Oromo article (which I have discussed here), adding to more misinformation for the American public.

This, as I have written before, adds to my gathering of proof that American leaders, left or right, are strategizing toward a subdued Ethiopia.

A strong Ethiopia will be difficult to coerce into the various Middle East policies that America, and I am convinced in conjunction with Israel, is currently developing.

As I wrote in my recent post Ethiopia's Independence and Strength about the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, which is now in its final stages of being filled, a strong and independent Ethiopia is not what these global powers want in northern Africa.

Sailer knows the implications of this, and he left the post and its comments for all to be misinformed.

Conspiracy on a Chef

Bourdain in Ethiopia for hs CNN show taping with another "celebrity Chef" Marcus Maya Samuelsson

I can't remember what exactly I was watching when I had this "flash" about Bourdain's "suicide."

Of course Bourdain looks creepy with his tattooed arms. And his super skinny body (especially his legs) indicates a drug-addict's appearance. But cooking for one's job is tough. Cooking is tough, period. The heat, the slippery floor, all that washing, setting the timer, and setting it right, so food doesn't burn, or worse over-cook (you can throw burnt food out), tasting, and finally the verdict (too much salt will get the frying pan out!) A "celebrity" "international" chef is not a glamorous career. Traveling is very tiring. You get sick in foreign, third world, lands which even the best of treatment and the most sophisticated "anti-malarial/anti-bacterial/anti-everything" medications cannot prevent.

But Bourdain was a good sport. He enjoyed traveling despite its grueling schedule. He sat down and ate with the "natives." He went beyond the food and really tried to understand the cultures. He was professional and kept up his CNN reportage diligently.

But. No-one was able to report on the "suicide note." We don't know what it said and even to whom it was addressed. Presumably it is to his young daughter. He split up wth his wife (or she split up with him more likely), and was with a new girlfriend, who also split up with him recently! These professional feminists just cannot stand the idea of supporting a man with a super busy life who would have time for them only during brief "down times" and when all he wants is a comfortable and familiar home with a wife and family who can welcome him full heartedly. Think of soldiers and warriors who, if they didn't have their stable homes and loving wives, COULDN'T fight dedicatedly. Who would they be fighting for?! Who would Bourdain be cooking for?

Asia Argento, his new girlfriend, used to travel with him, but I guess the exoticism wore off when she was left in empty luxury hotels as Bourdain went off into the common quarters to find that special local dish. She was seen wandering around with a new boyfriend.

The conclusion by journalists is that Argento's new affair was what triggered off Bourdain's suicide.

Maybe so. The account I have written certainly can explain it.

But I don't think so. A man dedicated to his work, a kind of a chef-warrior, seasoned, experienced and who has probably been through all kinds of social and professional obstacles, doesn't suddenly kill himself because his new girlfriend split up with him.

Others say that he contemplated suicide for a long time because of a nihilistic streak of "is life worth living?".

No. If you have travelled at all, you know that traveling, and with a cause (like finding great recipes) can be invigorating. And Bourdain was with people all the time. Helping people. Talking and joking with people. Showing the world in his globalist liberal way that we are all one big close-to-happy world. A bit like his close-to-happy chef's life.

Maybe if he had built his career solely in a big city (like New York) and was a drug addict in his super-luxury enclave (like Kate Spade), abandoned by wives and girlfriends and pushed to go on by his heroin and other drugs, he might have become that white male suicide victim.

Perhaps. But how many alcoholics and drug addicts commit suicide?

The statistics of white male suicides is apparently on the rise. But is it really an epidemic? Does Bourdain fit that profile other than "middle-aged white male?"

Here is an interesting video which suggests that his shift towards more conservative ideology may have ignited the wrath of his globalist liberal followers. The youtuber - goes on to say that Bourdain might have been privy to all kinds of illicit and illegal international activities, like pedophilic sex trafficking, prostitution rings, border-crossing guides for illegal migration, etc. etc.

Alex Jones at Info Wars: Learn What Anthony Bourdain Was Planning To Say Before He Died

This makee complete sense. If he talks to village henchmen in an African village, they will TELL him things surely. If he cooks with the local chef in some South Asian town, he will reveal the next river crossing on the way to Australia. He cannot enter into these Third World countries without the special permission of the top leaders of these countries. And so on.

This fits with Bourdain's do-gooder personality. His missionary-chef zeal. Hs one-world ideology.

Before we jump on to band wagons that white men are killing themselves off and dying like flies, let's not put every suspicious death into the same basket.

The what male is still strong, clever, curious, intelligent, an adventurer, and an inventor.

The anti-white anti-West pushers will push this angle to make this curious, and charmed species appear to be on the wane, to be dying out.

If they repeat it enough times, he will begin to believe it. Some in fact do believe it.

Once the white man's psyche is weakened then all kinds of other things can be rammed in. And, then the final demise of the western world will have been achieved.

I say NO. Bourdain - chef-warrior - should receive a plaque at the very least. Make him into a cult figure, I say to all young men. Learn from him! He may be full of faults, but who isn't? He's one of the best examples you have in this white-loathing world. He's one of yours.

Tough Beauty in NYC

"Upper West Side" NYC Nail Polish

This is a post I wrote in 2011:

Tough Beauty in NYC

There is a make-up brand called New York Color (abbreviated simply as NYC which looks like it stand for New York City). Their In a New York Color Minute nail polish - meant to dry in a minute - are the most fun (if that is a word to use for make-up) since they're all named after neighborhoods in Manhattan, which is of course synonymous with NYC.

Imagine wearing the “East Village” turquoise blue, or the “Park Avenue” gray, and living the sophisticated life of a Park Avenue socialite or an East Village artist vicariously through the nail polish.

Toronto Color (abbreviated as TC) just doesn't cut it. Not least because TC doesn't mean anything. During tourist season, T.O. - as in Toronto, Ontario - crops up more as a gimmick than a custom. And even if there were a huge campaign to recognize TO (and a catchy TOC for a make-up line?), what Toronto locations would have the same effect as Prospect Street or simply Uptown?

These are the NYC colors and names that caught my attention:

- Mulberry Street - beige
- Central Park - pale orange/pink
- Wall Street - pale translucent pink
- Prospect Park - glittery pink
- Spring Street - orange
- Times Square - red
- Park Avenue - gray
- Fashion Avenue - fuchsia
- Lincoln Square - lavender
- Uptown - dusty pink

The only problem I have is with the “Wall Street” very pale pink. I would have thought that female Wall Street workers would be more bold.

The NYC make-up line is very cheap. The product labels say: "Designed in New York. Made in the U.S.A. Dist. Coty US LLC: New York, NY 10016." I would think that "Made in the USA" has a lot to do with the low prices.

So much for cheap Chinese products. I would support Donald Trump's presidency purely for his stand against them, and his promise to reduce the Chinese hegemony on our daily products while building up Made in the USA.

Here is Trump talking about China and cheap Chinese products on CNN:
They're making stuff that you see being sold all the time on Fifth Avenue, copying various, you know, whether it's Chanel or whatever it may be, the brands, and just selling it ad - ad nauseum. I mean this is a country that is ripping off the United States like nobody other than OPEC has ever done before.

These are not our friends. These are our enemies. These are not people that understand niceness. And the only thing you can do, Wolf [Blizter], to get their attention is to say either we're not going to trade with you any further or, in the alternative, we're going to tax your products as they come into the United States...

We would - I would lower the taxes for people in this country and corporations in this country and let China and some of the other countries that are ripping us off and making hundreds of billions of dollars a year, let them pay...

They're going to make General Motors build the cars in China. They're not going to let China - they're not going to let General Motors take their cars from this country and sell them in China. They want General Motors to give up all of its intellectual rights and at the same time have Chinese workers build the cars, something which we are not doing, to that extent. If you look at what's happening with China and what they're selling to this country - or take South Korea, with the television sets and everything else, they're making it over there. China wants General Motors to build the cars in China.
At the end, Wolf Blitzer asks Trump if he's going to run for the US presidency. Trump answers that he's "giving it serious thought." Since then, Trump has said that he will officially announce his bid for the presidency on the finale of his show "Celebrity Apprentice," a show which I'm sure taught him some hard lessons about race reality in America, and in the West in general. Trump may seem to have brushed off all those ugly "celebrity" incidents, but as a hardened businessman, I don't for a (New York) minute think he will take any of them lightly.

Megyn K. and Vladimir

Below is a video of Vladimir Putin running circles around former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who left Fox News because she complained of "sexual assault" by its boss, and the boss and everyone else ignored/denied her allegations. This is Kelly who disarms her guests by yelling at them thinking that she's being tough and out to get the "Fair and Balanced™" news. She is shedding carefully maneuvered tears at various interviews and appearances. So much for the toughness. I wonder if Roger Ailes yelled at her.

Most likely, Putin has watched her program and also that infamous moment when, another macho, President Trump, gave Kelly as good as she gave (better, actually). Of course, Kelly couldn't handle it.

For all its potential as an SNL skit, this is serious stuff. A senior news anchor from an internationally regarded American media is confronting an influential world leader to act DICTATORIALLY in order to serve America's interests.

Unbelievable.

Post-Trump "Me-Toer" Megyn Kelly

Imagine your journalistic trajectory: Going from interviewing a future president of the United States to staging a "talk show" where you discuss "cozy fashion finds..." under a blanket!

Below is a four-minute segment:

The abrasive and non-photogenic Kelly is plodding through a morning talk show with ample arm movements and chuckles pretending to have a good time. And let's not forget the stilettos and skin-tight dresses.

What would she ask Pres. Trump if he ever came on her show (the likelihood of which - her asking and his accepting - are pretty high)?

It's not that she has forgiven him - she finds any occasion to throw covert jabs at him - but she would want to show him she's risen above her embarrassment and is back on television. And this time where she would have 100% support - by the 99% all-woman audience.

Imagine though going from "news" reporting (and even if some was fake news she got to meet big important people such as heads of states!) to talking about cozy blankets!

Kelly of course brought up her "Me Too" moment on her show on October 23, 2018:
"I know, because I complained...I wrote an email to the co-presidents of Fox News, Bill Shine and Jack Abernethy, an email have never made public but am sharing now because I think it speaks volumes about powerful men and the road blocks one can face in taking them on."
Watch Kelly on her 4 minute confession and group hug, dressed in a somber black dress (a precursor to the Hollywood "Black for Me Too" extravaganza):

Below, Kelly is on her October 23 confessional show as she interviews Juliet Huddy, another Me Too-er who also accused Fox News' Bill O'Reilly.

Both are dressed up for the event with black, but fancy dresses, and the prerequisite super heels.

The poor self-effacing man is attorney Doug Wigdor "handling 22 claims against Fox News" according to Kelly's introduction.

It is incredible that "allegations" becomes a lynching word. Trial without judge or jury! Welcome to the Post Modern Feminist Movement.

Welcome to the Brave New World!

Easter and Passover

Moses and parting of the Red Sea, from Cecil B. Demille's The Ten Commandments

I wrote the article below in 2010, and it was published at Frontpage Magazine.

It is a critique of religion, contemporary American politics, multiculturalism, and Christianity. I am not a politician (nor a student of politics), but I'm surprised at how prescient some of my points were back then (this is four years before Obamacare becomes part of American health care)

Reclaiming Religion From the Left
Published in Frontpage Magazine
April 19, 2010

[Commentary on the 1956 Cecil B. DeMille's 1956 film The Ten Commandments should be screening this Easter on television, as it is an annual tradition. "Please check you local listings."]

Two television networks showcased Cecil B. DeMille’s epic 3 ½ hour The Ten Commandments this Easter: ABC and Canada’s CBC. The 1956 film had no need for our 21st century Computer Generated Imagery to convince us that the Red Sea was indeed parting, and that the “bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed” (Exodus 3:2). I wondered if the networks made this choice because there is really no superlative modern narrative of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection? We have Mel Gibson’s The Passion of Christ, but its gore and blood is too hard to take at Easter. The Last Temptation of Christ by Martin Scorsese is too idiosyncratic, and would be something to watch and study at another time in the year. There are plenty of bland and insipid made-for-television versions of Christ’s story, many of which are programmed during Christmas, but for some reason they were not screened this Easter.

Perhaps these channels chose to commemorate Passover rather than Easter, which fell around similar dates this year. Or they’re simply following the ritual of politically correct inclusiveness. Even President Obama has made Passover Seder-at-the-White House a new tradition, hosting it for the second time as President. No other President before him has hosted the Seder at the White House. Obama’s Seder started on a whim, it seems. During his campaign trail, two young Jewish aides were celebrating their Seder in a basement of a Pittsburgh hotel, away from home and family, when Obama joined their festivities.

Obama’s interest in Jewish celebrations may indeed be a liberal’s outreach to cultural diversity – after all, the White House now hosts Ramadan dinners. But, it fits his narcissistic personality, conforming the Seder to any situation he may be experiencing at the time of the holiday. At the first, impromptu, Seder in Pennsylvania when his campaign was steeped in the Reverend Wright controversies and was “in the desert,” as another campaign aide put it, Obama proclaimed “Next year at the White House” as an addition to “Next Year in Jerusalem” commonly said at the end of the dinner. Perhaps, as suggests Judi Kantor from the New York Times, this year’s focus could have been one of the universalist themes that Obama is so fond of: to free Americans from the bondage of capitalist healthcare and to give them the abundance of Obamacare.

The Center for American Progress has another suggestion. In it’s article on Obama’s Seder celebration this year, CAP cleverly used the Bible’s New Revised Standard Version to quote from Exodus 22:21: “You shall not wrong or oppress a resident alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.” Almost all the other versions use “stranger”, “foreigner” or “sojourner” in lieu of “resident alien,” clearly portraying a temporary dweller and not the long-term inhabitant that “resident alien” implies. The CAP’s advice to President Obama is that he treat Mexican illegal aliens with the same compassion they interpret from the NRS, and pass comprehensive immigration reform. But when we parse the words, it is clear that illegal aliens are not the “resident aliens” implied by CAP, but emboldened Mexicans, foreigners and strangers, who wish to take advantage of the lax rules and borders that makes it possible for them to enter and reside in the country with impunity.

One has to marvel at the President’s Seder chutzpah after his dismal treatment of Prime Minister Netanyahu during his recent visit to the United States. It is one thing to celebrate an ethnic festival, but another to respect the significance that the celebrants give their rituals. The Israelites that Obama commemorates in these Seders were freed from bondage in Egypt, and their descendants later received their Promised Land. Yet, Obama seems intent on removing this sacred land from the Jews, and forcing on them new enemies who are probably far more ruthless than the Egyptians.

Modern Christians are in as much danger as modern Jews. Our liberal neighbors, with their feel-good, made-up Christianity are destroying our religion and our communities. Liberal church leaders support issues ranging from comprehensive immigration reform to same sex marriage. Atheists, who have nonetheless constructed their own religion, now have their prophets. In the April 2010 publication of Vanity Fair, atheist Christopher Hitchens performs an iconoclastic dismantling of the Biblical Ten Commandments and then gives us his own petty ten. Like the Old Testament’s Jews, we have to trust that God will free us from our current tribulations.

In fact, End Time preachers use the exodus as an allegory for our liberation. Our ultimate release is entry into God’s heavenly land. But the Passover and Easter stories are also our personal stories. The journey from bondage to freedom reflects our own mundane ordeals. And we experience death and resurrection with each sin and atonement. Celebrating these holidays each year gives us the hope that we too will inherit our particular Israel.

The liberal, politically correct television stations were right after all. The story of Moses, recounting a people’s freedom from slavery, and culminating with the abiding Ten Commandments, was an apt choice for these holidays. Would that our leaders understand and practice its significance. Not just as at religious celebrations, but throughout the year.
