"Most Officers Reach Excellence Every Single Day"

Below is the transcript of a five minute video that David Clarke, former Milwaukee County Sheriff, recorded after his "interview" with CNN's Don Lemon.

The transcript to Clarke's post-CNN video is here (also in full below the dotted line), and the video here.

Below is Clarke's CNN interview with Lemon:

Watch the now matter-of-fact bully tactics reporters use to intimidate, and silence-through-interruptions, their interviewees.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Former Sheriff David Clarke:
"Cops are not perfect.

That’s not a news flash. But this might be: They don’t have to be perfect. They have to be excellent."

[Transcript]

For over 39 years, I was a police officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For 15 of those years, I was the Sheriff of Milwaukee County. I’ve done everything you can do as cop—from walking the beat, to investigating murder, to running the agency. I’ve met a lot of cops—of every race, ethnicity and background.

Here’s what I can tell you:

Cops are not perfect.

That’s not a news flash. But this might be: They don’t have to be perfect. They have to be excellent.

And most officers reach excellence every single day, and often under very difficult circumstances—circumstances you can’t imagine, and wouldn’t want to if you could.

Perfection is an unattainable goal. Cops are ordinary human beings. Like everyone else—lawyers, surgeons and baseball players—they make mistakes. But no profession works harder to correct its mistakes. You can mark social progress by the improvements made by police departments over the last 50 years. Today, police are more professional, better educated, and better trained than at any time in their history.

You wouldn’t know it, though, if you listened to self-serving, self-righteous politicians and activists. In their version of history, the police are the villains of the story, not its heroes. Like everything else this crowd does, they’ve got it all backwards.

The police aren’t the problem. The politicians and activists are.

The police didn’t create the failed urban policies that have locked people into generational poverty.

The police aren’t responsible for fatherless homes, failing schools, and bad lifestyle choices.

And they sure as hell aren’t responsible for the lack of respect shown to police officers. It is this lack of respect for authority, fostered over decades by the progressive left and its fear-the-police narrative, that has led to the needless deaths of so many young black men.

When Officer Darren Wilson told Michael Brown to get out of the middle of the street in Ferguson, Missouri, did Brown comply? No. When officers in Baltimore told Freddie Gray to stop resisting arrest, did he comply? No. When officers in New York City told Eric Garner to stop resisting arrest, did he comply? No.

Here’s a useful tip—if you want avoid a bad outcome with a police officer, follow this simple rule:

When a cop gives you a lawful command, obey it—even if you disagree. Whatever problem you are experiencing is not going to be settled on the street. People with complaints need to use the process established for that purpose. Though cops don’t have the final say, they do in that moment. How you react can be a matter of life or death.

But the idea that a law-abiding citizen has to fear the police is a terrible and destructive lie. Let’s get some perspective.

In 2014, 990 people were killed in police use-of-force incidents. Does that sound like a lot? Did you know that, according to a Johns Hopkins study, that same year, medical errors killed 250,000 people? Yet activists aren’t marching in the streets, demanding that the medical profession be reformed. Why not?

Why is it that the people who protect you from the bad guys—and I’ve seen these bad guys close up—are the subject of distrust and anger?

Why is it that groups like Black Lives Matter—I call them Black Lies Matter because it’s based on the falsehood that police represent a danger to black people—are celebrated by the media and politicians?

All this is taking its toll on cops and, even more tragically, on the law-abiding citizens in the neighborhoods that most need a strong police presence. The murder rates in these neighborhoods are going up because lawful, aggressive policing is going down.

Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute has explained why. She calls it “The Ferguson Effect.” And it’s real. It’s also common sense. Why, police officers reason, put your career at risk, if 30 seconds of smartphone video taken out of context can destroy it?

Here’s the truth: Police aren’t afraid of walking the streets or being shot by random criminals. They’re afraid of being involved in an incident that would label them forever as trigger-happy racists.

Are there bad cops? I know first-hand that there are—I’ve had to fire them.

But the overwhelming majority are good, decent men and women, concerned about the law-abiding citizens in the communities they serve and are willing to put their lives on the line to protect them.

Those who try to convince you, either out of ignorance or out of some ideological agenda, that the police are the enemy—those are the people you should fear.

Run from them.

Not the cops.

I’m Sheriff David Clarke for Prager University.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network

The Black Lives Matter Global Network and the Oromo "uprising": I believe there is a connection.

Photo of jailed Oromo instigator, Jawar Mohammed, in a t-shirt with the Black Lives Matter slogan "I Can't Breathe."
...Ethiopian social media had its share of controversial debates driven by diaspora activists and media, particularly in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the location of George Floyd’s “I CAN’T BREATHE” last words, as a white policeman suffocated him to death. Minnesota was one of the places the Ethiopian Prime Minister visited in 2018, due to its significant Ethiopian population, particularly of ethnic Oromo. ZEHABESHA media, the top Ethiopian media based in Minneapolis, covered local protests. And popular Oromo politician Jawar Mohammed, also from Minnesota, wore a t-shirt displaying “I can’t breathe.”[Source]

Antisemitism and the Victimhood of Looting Thugs

Above is a screen shot of Peter Brimelow on June 3 at the Berkley Springs Castle, while being interviewed by RamzPaul (what serious adult has a "nickname" RamzPaul - there's a whole "joke" behind it I'm sure, and I'm not interested).

Sir Brimelow, master of the Berkeley Springs Castle, comes looking like one of the (imaginary) hired hands.

Berkley Castle Grounds photograph, courtesy of estately.com

Which begs the question: How does one manage a huge property, in four-season West Virginia (Winter snow, Fall leaves, Spring rains, and Summer growths)?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post on the series of posts I've don on the VDare non-reporting on the devastation that the fake COVID has done on the US economy, I wrote on VDare author's Sailer's June 4 post: Cristalnacht in the Fairfax District:
It begs the question: Was the VDare group, realizing that eventually the fake virus would unleash societal upheavals, cleverly deducing that it would become a racial blowup, where blacks would feel even more "oppressed," while whites, even the poor whites, appear to be doing that (little) much better?
I wrote, on Sailer's comment in that article: "The Fairfax neighborhood in West Hollywood, CA is known both for its elderly Jewish population":
As always, the VDare group has some wrong end of the stick. And it usually involves blacks. And a subservient, under-the-radar acknowledgment of Jewish "victimhood." Who exactly finances VDare's big enterprises - e.g.: Their Castle on the Virginia Hills? And who has the deepest, and strongest, vested interest in destroying Christianity?
Sailer is not letting off his Jewish-link, i.e. antisemtic, theory, as an update on his June 4 post.

In his latest article on June 5 at VDare: More on Cristalnacht in West Hollywood, Sailer quotes from Jerusalem Post's June 3 article, Jewish business owners describe vandalism, looting of businesses in LA.

In that article, Jewish business owners describe the vandalism and looting of businesses in LA:
Rosenfeld described the scene late Saturday night with people driving down the Fairfax district streets screaming, “effing Jews,” at them.
Notice that this is the generic "people." Were they whites, Hispanics, blacks? How many? A whole Dionysian mob?

Is it the "antifa" which is effing the Jews?

Well, here is some information:
Israeli-born philanthropist and activist Adam Milstein...said: “The rioters are antifa and Black Lives Matter and they are inherently antisemitic.”
Why anti-semitic? Because they ransacked some stores? No, because:
"...synagogues got tagged and Jewish businesses were looted with [signs saying] ‘Free Palestine’ and ‘Kill the Jews,’ [which] is not a coincidence. The rioters are antifa and Black Lives Matter and they are inherently antisemitic.”
So who at VDare really cares about the fate of blacks, those hundreds of thousands of blacks, who are at at the same mercy, (and even worse), as are whites, of the vicious hands of these hired gun thugs who are rampaging through America's cities?

But Jews are leftists, and "activists," in one form or another, and explains Jonathan Friedman:
....who owns Syd’s Pharmacy, also in the Fairfax area, he’s unclear if he was targeted because he is Jewish or if it’s because looters were after narcotics – all of which were taken from his store.

“It’s frustrating,” he added. “We had no part in this. They had no reason to involve us. I understand the [protesters’] cause. They’re actually right. Someone was murdered and they’re right, but I don’t see where myself and other businesses, that were suffering with corona, have the extra $3,000 to cover the deductible for their insurance, fit into this whole thing.”
Syd "understands" these thug looters, who are victims, don't you know. There can be some excuse for antisemites.

Accelerate the Revolution

The image above comes from Steve Sailer's article on VDare: Cristalnacht in the Fairfax District.

Sailer writes:
The Fairfax neighborhood in West Hollywood, CA is known both for its elderly Jewish population of 1940s refugees and its luxury stores selling conspicuous consumption items that rappers crave, like Cristal champagne.

So the smashing of windows and looting of high end shops on Fairfax and Melrose boulevards could be dubbed Cristalnacht, especially because a small number of the terrorized residents can likely still remember the Kristallnacht of 82 years ago.
Sailer just got on piece of information (fact) wrong:
‘It has come to my attention that the managing director of Cristal, Frédéric Rouzaud, views the “hip-hop” culture as “unwelcome attention”’, said Jay-Z. ‘I view his comments as racist and will no longer support any of his products through any of my various brands, including the 40/40 Club, nor in my personal life.’ [Source: Decanter, June 16 2006]
That was fourteen years ago!

Who knows why Jay-Z chose Cristal? He's into bling bling, has a lot of money to throw around, and his wife Beyonce thinks she's the Queen Bee, who also glitzes her wardrobe with shiny stones. So Cristal might just be a name thing (and a "religion?").

Beyonce crystalled out in her Witchcraft video: Formation

There's a deeper connection, actually, which Sailer might have got to had he not used his race-tinted cool shades. Or, he never meant to report on this.

Both Beyonce and Jay-Z use their "black power" image to project a "neo-black power" occult movement. In fact, all their videos and languages are filled with double meanings, the double, the hidden, being their Illuminati messaging. Their occult stand.

J and Queen B are deeply embroiled in the occult, devil worship.

Skull from Jay Z's "On to the next one" video

Of course, the atheist VDare (and that includes Sailer and Brimelow), who "celebrate" Christmas as a one-up on the religion of the multi-culti and blaspheme against the true celebration of Christ's birth, find nothing wrong with (or at least, nothing to report about) different religious stands. No-where, in any of their reports, do they discuss the Christian implications of immigration (including all those Catholic Mexicans who cross that border). Christianity simply becomes a celebratory prop to distinguish, and elevate, the white Brimelow from those brown Catholics, along with all those other religions. So even Satanism counts as a religion to stand on, and perhaps even better than the others, since it builds towards the destruction of Christianity and the Gotterdammerung, a fresh clean slate for the white West.

---------------------------------------------------------

I wrote yesterday (June 4) in my post America-Destroying Entities
There is no attempt by VDare et al., and Faith Goldy, who has regular video posts on Vdare, to delve into the underlying causes of black thuggery. E.g., who exactly is it that funds the "movement?" How do other blacks, and especially the poorest (pregnant women living alone!), fare under the fear of this black underworld of crime and murder, which also viciously attacks them?
But, I had some speculations in previous posts. This time regarding the VDare group's silence on the COVID "crisis" which resulted with the real crisis from the economic shutdowns of whole countries:
But, I discovered that what I wrote earlier still holds: that VDare has no interest in the societal and economic upheaval that this fake pandemic is causing the world[Reclaiming Beauty, May 14, 2020].
What is disconcerting is that VDare has not posted a single coherent piece on the spectacular "lockdown" (a prison term, by the way) on Americans and Canadians, and actually the whole world, on a fake pandemic for a virus that has killed less than the flu virus (and viruses), which originated from an outdoor market in China[Reclaiming Beauty, April 28, 2020].
It begs the question: Was the VDare group, realizing that eventually the fake virus would unleash societal upheavals, cleverly deducing that it would become a racial blowup, where blacks would feel even more "oppressed," while whites, even the poor whites, appear to be doing that (little) much better?

I continue in my May 14 post:
The discussion between Derbyshire and Brimelow [during one of Brimelow's regular interviews with writers and journalists] centered around black crimes on whites, which is the repetitive, mantra-like, redundant postings through which VDare has made its trademark, over the couple of decades it has existed.

I have to speculate whether it is something that they wish for, some kind of racial war, to start the machinations of a global Gotterdammerung, to start their America on a clean, white slate.
Ordinary whites appear to have a complicit head start in the COVID recovery, which the media talking heads, fronted by blacks and whites, tell us. Thus ALL whites appear to prevent blacks from getting their daily bread. And this "narrative" is followed by whites and blacks alike. But the violence of black thugs has nothing to do with their daily bread, COVID or no COVID. And it has nothing to do with "their" race.

Thus, this manipulated "pandemic" became the starting point for the race war that race instigators from all corners and political stripes, and especially the elite leaders, are content to see happening.

It will simply accelerate the revolution toward:

Black subjugation and wipe out

or

White subjugation and wipe out
---------------------------------------------------------

It is a war.

All About (the Black) Race

It is all about race, isn't it, for the modern con or lib.

Malkin, about whom (and about whose news "analysis") I posted here, and which also includes her interview with VDare's Brimelow, another race obsessed con, has her twitter description as "Little brown woman."

So what? Does this give her some kind of magical insight into the plight of blacks, and browns, in America? Is she the expert?

Hardly, with her Colorado home, and holidays, and some kind of cushy job writing a syndicated column for creators.com.

I wonder if she's ever been to a "brown" country, such as Mexico, or the Philippines, from where apparently her predecessors hail?

Hiking in the Colorado mountains hardly makes the Third World score.

[Image source: Michelle Malkin's twitter page header]

And I wonder why these con women desire so much to show the world their online touch-ups? I really don't want to see Malkin's thighs as I read her twitter page, which is hardly ever. A picture is worth a thousand words.

It is important to note that Malkin, who professes to be a Roman Catholic, is married to a Jewish man. How do they bring up their children: Catholic, Jewish, non-determined to decide later? And where does female modesty appear in all this?

Social Distancing as a Joke

Derbyshire (of two VDare "genii" - listen to their joke during the interview on Youtube below and here) meets up with Brimelow, editor of VDare, via some teleconferencing method now the rage in this corona-era to discuss, well, NOT social distancing.

I tuned in (actually listened to the taped video) genuinely believing that they would somehow discuss the fake pandemic.

But, I discovered that what I wrote earlier still holds: that VDare has no interest in the societal and economic upheaval that this fake pandemic is causing the world.
What is disconcerting is that VDare has not posted a single coherent piece on the spectacular "lockdown" (a prison term, by the way) on Americans and Canadians, and actually the whole world, on a fake pandemic for a virus that has killed less than flu virus (and viruses), which originated from an outdoor market in China.[Reclaiming Beauty, April 28, 2020]
The discussion between Derbyshire and Brimelow centered around black crimes on whites, which is the repetitive, mantra-like, redundant postings through which VDare has made its trademark, over the couple of decades it has existed.

I have to speculate whether it is something that they wish for, some kind of racial war, to start the machinations of a global Gotterdammerung, to start their America on a clean, white slate.

The populations that are suffering due to this "pandemic" at much higher levels are the poor, mostly black and other "people of color," although not due to illness or death, but through financial loss of jobs and savings.
[T]he most jobs at risk [due to the coronavirus lockdowns include]...leisure and hospitality..., transportation ..., employment services..., mining ..., and travel arrangements.

[...]

The analysis signals that this recession will be particularly challenging for people of color. While about 12.5% of non-Hispanic white Americans work in the most affected industries, this is true for 17.6% of Hispanic workers and 16.8% of blacks. Hispanics make up a large share of employment in the leisure and hospitality industry, and black workers make up a bigger proportion of the transportation sector. [Source]
Poor whites may suffer also, but to a lesser extent. And wealthier whites have many strategies to reduce their corona-problems, including rushing off (in Canada at least) to their second homes in quieter and healthier lake-side properties.

Poorer people may not have the luxury of credit cards, or even internet connections which they trust will not eat away their online dollar expenditures.

And wealthier whites can stay for much longer holed up in their five-bedroom homes, with one room each for Mom, Dad, and three kids (and even with one room to spare), than would poorer families of five living in apartments of three rooms.

Either way, the corona seems to be financially affecting non-whites more than whites.

I thought Brimelow and Derbyshire would discuss the draconian, government imposed shut-down and lock-down for a "big nothing" virus, as I wrote earlier, and how it affects some more than others (although certainly affecting all). Instead, their social distancing was simply a joke on the times.

Their conversation consisted purely of "immigration restriction" in the time of the virus.

And Brimelow's idea of a joke is to put in front view a bottle of whisky, and to drink from it: "The Corona has turned me to drink."

My recent (corona) post on VDare is here.

Compliment and Insult

Young Jewish and Chinese girls in Harbin, China [Source]

I was complimenting Mercer where I wrote to her during a 2009 email exchange:
At some point, the interactions got really weird. I think one thing that started it off was my criticism of article she wrote equating Jews with the Chinese. I said there is no comparison, Jews are better. This didn't sit too well. Of course, her response had a whiff of "you are racist" to it [Source: Camera Lucida, 2009].
I was actually saying to her that she was better than the Chinese - brainier, at least. I guess racial "criticism" only goes one way - about the "better off."

Mercer's chiseled pen, with her contributions to VDare, still couldn't accept my proposal that Jews are better than Chinese. We could have discussed the implication, the intrinsic details, what it all means. And if that makes the Chinese any less human.

No. I was simply a racist.

John Derbyshire's: VDare's Contract Man

When Danny comes marching home
Danny shipped off to Fort Benning, Ga. at the end of July
to train as an infantryman in the U.S. Army (2013) [source: Derbyshire's homepage]

[Source: John Derbyshire's homepage and VDare]
I wrote about John Derbyshire's article on Tedros Ghebreyesus, the World Health Organization's Director-General, here, and some background on Derbyshire here, and his half-Chinese children, here.

Why is VDare using Derbyshire, a white British man (naturalized American), married to a woman he met in China, as their white representative to "save" America from immigrants and multiculturalism?

I believe VDare's underlying principle is IQ. People with high intelligence, on par with the intelligence of whites, make better Americans than all the others - Hispanics, Arabs, Africans, etc.

Therefore Derbyhsire's Chinese wife is of no concern, since she comes from a country which purports to have high IQ population groups.

Of course, the high Asian IQ theory has its problems, which I've discussed here.

And a high IQ is not a guarantor that anyone, or any nation, will be successful. There are other factors, what I would call the Aesthetic IQ, which determines how one views beauty, the Spiritual IQ, how one lives in accordance with higher principles, and finally the God IQ, how nations and their people figure the Biblical God in the formation of their civilizations.

I presume that Derbyshire has a high "traditional" IQ, which he uses exclusively, and which led him to discard his God IQ, publicly proclaiming his atheism. I also think he is deficient in the Aesthetic IQ, but I won't go into that.

Derbyshire's two children, a half-Chinese son and a half-Chinese daughter, appear in many of his posts, where he has documented their birth to early twenties life in his family album posts. But there is no report on their current situations. Both Danny and Nellie Derbyshire are now nearing their 30s. What are they doing?

Perhaps nothing so impressive as to live up to the subtle IQ hype Derbyshire proudly presented in their earlier years.

My daughter and I had a very instructive morning yesterday

A friend at NYMEX...got us visitor passes,
with a view to Nellie possibly getting an internship
at the exchange in her summer vacation.
[Source: John Derbyshire's posts at The National Review's The Corner, 2010]

My end-2012 puzzle was a splendid 2,000-piecer of van Gogh's The Starry Night

I summon Danny and intone the ritual words:
"Help me out here, please, son. I've almost finished; but there's
this one pesky last piece left, and I can't figure out where it goes."

I then hand the piece to Danny and he completes the puzzle.

[source: Derbyhsire's hompage]
Derbyshire writes about his high IQ son here:
Danny took the AFQT (basically an IQ test: the cutoff for the Army is IQ 92) and the ASVAB
(a vocational test to see which military specialty suits you).
A smart kid - it’s genetic - Danny aced both tests and is in A-1 physical condition,
so they basically told him he could pick his own specialty.
He picked Airborne Rangers, the most dangerous specialty on the list.
They jump out of planes to do Navy-SEAL-type super-hazardous missions.

Where do Derbyshire's Expertise Lie?

From
Ici Radio Canada: Des habitants de Markham ont manifesté contre l'immigration plus tôt cet été August 2018

-------------------------------

I wonder why VDare allows John Derbyshire to write his articles on blacks? I would think his multi-culti expertise would lie more with the Chinese, to one of whom Mr. Derbyshire is married.

Derbyshire has a fascinatingly public "personal" page, where he posts photographs of his English "coal mine" family along with his wife's "Chinese peasants," and his daughter's Hispano/Arab boyfriend called "Mike." So, Derb's progeny continue with his multi-culti example, after all.

"The family Christmas picture, with Nellie's guy Mike at left." [Image and text source]

Merry X-Mas from the atheist and his family

-------------------------------

I'm not the only one to notice this BF. Here's a photo from the Hapa & Eurasian Community: Asian Pacific Halfies, who comment:
noblemagistrate
...maybe his buddy Jared Taylor will excuse him for letting his daughter date a Jewish guy.

By the way, why do his kids look 1000% Asian? They don't look mixed at all. I know that WMAF typically look more Asian than white but they look more Asian than their mother, lol.

Here is one fascinating article where Derbyshire discusses Chinese immigrants in Markham, Ontario, Canada(!).

Derbyshire's point in this article is how LEGAL Chinese immigrants organized protests on ILLEGAL refugees being shipped into Markham:
More encouraging is news from Markham, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto with a big concentration of Chinese immigrants.

This started when Toronto found they had more illegal aliens than they could find accommodation for. Numbers coming across the border from the U.S.A. have been swelling the past couple of years, and of course they are all claiming to be refugees from something or other.

[...]

The rumor started that Scarpitti had agreed with the mayor of Toronto to take and house five thousand of these illegals.

Once that got around, a demonstration was organized. To judge from videos and press accounts, the demonstrators were all Chinese. There were big signs on display in English, Chinese, and Chinglish. Samples:

MARKHAM SAY NO TO ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSERS

SAY "NO" TO MAYOR FRANK!

ILLEGAL FREE RIDER NOT INVITED

PROTECT OUR CITY, PROTECT OUR HOME!

[...]

It was a good spirited gathering, though. There was a counter-protest on behalf of the illegals, carrying signs of their own: REFUGEES WELCOME, NOBODY IS ILLEGAL, and so on. A lot of them were Chinese, too, but there were also round-eyes in evidence on that side.

Inevitably there were fisticuffs, but no-one was seriously hurt. I would like to have seen some Chinese martial arts on display, but the most fearsome participant was a young Dragon Lady type with an ear-splitting voice out of Chinese opera, who chased some of the counter-protestors right off the field.
Chinese immigrants, and their several-generations-down inheritors STILL refer to their Chinese, from China, background, and intrinsically search for that reference, and assurance.

Even, Derb's daughter, rather than go for the Whites of her father's background, chose instead an undecipherable (at least in presentation) of a brown man as her mate. What good is having a white father if even he cannot convince you of the goodness of his race?

Derbyshire forfeited that wisdom, and authority, when he traveled across the oceans and married a Chinese woman. His British adventurous fore-fathers never did that, at least not officially, and publicly. The reason colonization worked is because they kept the natives, the inhabitants, of those countries in their countries. They didn't make a bargain through "love and marriage" and opened up the Pandora's box of multiculturalism through multi-racial offspring. Derbyshire is now having to maneuver through that conundrum, with a boyfriend (future son-in-law?) his daughter brought home, with a foreboding face, who might not really like him.

Then what?

Chung-Im Kim and Her Textile Designs' Korean Ancestral Loyalties

Here are the most current designs from Chung-Im Kim, textile designer, and associate professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design.

I believe that Kim has nothing to emulate, nothing to draw inspiration from, in the Canadian landscape, but rather looks back thousands of miles, and cultures, away to her Korean background.

As I wrote in my August 2018 article:
Kim's designs are a combination of..."deconstructed-reconstructed" works of postmodern art and works that reference her Korean/Asian background.
Kim writes about her textiles and her inspirations:
...the familiar Korean textile never fail to encourage my search --- perhaps it is a consolation that I look for unconsciously living so far away from Korea.

About her felt work, she writes:
Searching for a personal vocabulary of images that can speak as a universal language was my core concern when I resumed my art career in Canada after a long break since arrival. This often took the form of a repetition of a few basic essential shapes, adding interest through the use of relief, appliqué, inherent dyed colour and many related techniques. At the same time, I continued to be inspired by traditional Korean textiles --- in both a technical and spiritual sense.
Here are her fungal-like growths which she designs with felt, and which she sells for over $6,000 each. She categorizes them on her website as: Living Geometry

Post-modern, abstract textile design is a lucrative business, along with associate professorship in leading universities.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Below is my post, from August 2018 on Kim, her designs, and her loyalties:

At the end of the article, I write;
Their ethnic references are too far away, and they are too alienated from their current country, and all that is left is the "structure" of the image: its shape, its empty outline.
I should add to that:
...its empty outline, ready to fill up with foreign, alien forces.
After all, Kim's fungal protrusions are titled" Mutations."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I've always, since my Ontario College of Art Design days, tried to master textile art and design. My instructor was a Korean woman. It was then that I intuitively realized that "Asians" had an inherent dislike of whites. I went to "night school" and took only one course for four consecutive sessions. This course was open to the public and not just OCAD students. It became an issue for her after the second course, but I was paying the $200/course fee. If she had any sympathy for me and my ideas, I would have told her that I was there to use the equipment.

By the third session I had developed many of my ideas. I had briefly started doing the geometric border patterns found in Ethiopian dress, but my models for my work were the historical textiles of the Western World up to the early 20th century. Anything beyond that took on the modernists' "destruction of the image" ideology.

The textile instructor, Chung-Im Kim, who I believe didn't have the rigorous "image-making" background required of textile design - including drawing and painting - vociferously pushed me to "design something Ethiopian." Eventually I came to the course randomly and spent my time - evenings and weekends - in the textile workroom, mixing paints, cutting cloth and printing. I did the blueprints at home on a makeshift IKEA work table.

I wondered later why she never introduced us to the endless list of "white" designers. All artists, however limited their education, at some point come across some textiles which are too breathtaking to ignore. I don't think she was intellectually limited. Nor can she use the "excuse" that she is an immigrant. She had lived in Canada by then too many years to not even have casually wandered across some of these works.

I believe it was (is) this inherent dislike of whites. Perhaps not individual whites, and certainly not the leftist whites which now make up Canada and America who hate "whites" or white civilization themselves, but the white people as a collective, the white civilization, the white mind.

Kim's designs are a combination of these "deconstructed-reconstructed" works of postmodern art and works that reference her Korean/Asian background.

ALL non-whites at some point begin to refer to their ancestral lands for inspiration, artistic or otherwise. And the constant, daily reminder that art created by whites has always been SUPERIOR to their art, from their specific non-European or North American region or country (Asia, South America, Africa, the Caribbeans) must ignite their fury.

I believe, though, that I am the exception.

As I write in an unpublished article:
My family and I left Ethiopia in 1973, a year before the “Ethiopian Revolution” which occurred in 1974, when Emperor Haile Selassie was deposed and a communist regime ran the country for almost two decades. I was ten years old. My father secured a post in UNESCO in Paris. My brothers and I initially attended school in Paris, but our parents sent us to England to boarding school a year later.

That dramatic, but fortuitous exit sent me across the globe from France to England and America to Canada. Our first landing point in Paris separated us from the usual flow of Ethiopian emigrants and refugees who set sail for America (and fewer to Canada). We were alone in our havens. My eleven years in France and as a student in boarding schools in England gave me the unique vantage point of discovering the West without the biases and interpretations of other Ethiopians and Africans. I was able to discover them on my own terms. I learned to love the West through the beautiful city of Paris and the paradisaical countryside of southern Kent.

My informal education had taken a Western orientation, but...I eventually obtained Bachelor and Masters degrees in the Biological and Health sciences in the United States. While pursuing my PhD, I lived in Mexico for two years working on my research work in clinical nutrition. The results of my PhD research eventually produced a unique testing method which was published in various academic science and medical journals.

By the end of my doctoral studies [we] obtained residency...in Canada [where] I was finally stable and able to make decisions about my activities without affecting my residency status. In Toronto, I obtained various certificates and qualifications in film and photography. I also studied textile design, and painting and drawing. I was determined to become an artist.

My constant displacement, my rigorous science education, and my artistic training allows me to ask: What is art? What is beauty? And why is Western beauty and art so singular? I have tried to answer these questions over the years.

My Message is Simple: Go to Where You Belong

The Cloisters, New York

I have always been consistent about my Western civilization part. What all this reflection has shown me is my uniqueness. I don't want to be in the West for opportunistic reasons, but because I am really part of it, because I really love it, I identify with it. I have found no-one else like me and not for lack of trying. And it has made me profoundly empathetic towards those who search for this authenticity. Sometimes I am short towards them, sometimes harsh, and sometimes even hostile. And the level of my anger shows the level of my concern.

Perhaps Larry Auster is the closest example to what I'm trying to do, where even as his Jewishness defined his being, he became a powerful voice for the West and specifically for America, and his message was received all the more because of that.

It is a tough call, what I've dedicated myself to. People will get confused by me, people will reject me, they will call me a hypocrite and a traitor as they bring my race to the forefront and even attack me for it. It has already happened. And I even have an answer, a response, for that: the Amhara race is different from other African or Arab races, and has always looked to the West for guidance. If I am to cite my ancestry, it will be in that manner. And I am the only one to follow it through. My persistence will show my authenticy.

I have developed a tough skin, starting from my childhood. And I have always been independent, which my childhood has also taught me. And I think people will ultimately listen to me. My message is simple: go to where you belong.

Dear Dr. Duchesne,

I frequently read the articles on the website Council of European Canadians, and I have read your book Canada in Decay.

I have been collecting and filing data on Mississauga, Ontario, for about three years now, to publish a book on the city.

I have been living in Mississauga for about five years, having lived in Toronto before that.

My years in Mississauga exposed me to multiculturalism and it steady and nefarious progression into the Canadian life and landscape. Mississauga is conveniently ignored by major cities like Toronto and Ottawa, and is a destination for Third World immigrants who flock here looking for cheaper housing and a safe suburban life, away from the "big city" problems of Toronto. Mississauga now has one of the largest non-white population in all of Canada.

Mississauga's leaders' intentions are starkly displayed at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, where I was a frequent visitor and recorder of the art and artistic activities promoted and programed by the gallery.

About a year ago, I asked one too many controversial question at an AGM gallery event about the lack of Western art on display at the gallery, and subsequently, I received an email from the galley's (still current) director, Mandy Slater, a white woman, to cease my "antagonistic" behavior and not to frequent gallery any more, with my name submitted to the Peel Region Police and the Mississauga Security division, should I not comply. I haven't entered the gallery since then. But the AGM's prolific website provides me with all the information I require on the gallery's exhibitions and programming to follow and monitor their activities. As well, most of the staff post photographs and commentary on their various social media sites.

Since then, the AGM has been making progressive changes in the gallery's structure and organization, and especially so in the past few months. One of the dramatic changes has been the removal of Kendra Ainsworth, its one (of two) white staff. The other is Mandy Salter, the gallery's director, recently hired only about a year ago. All the other administrative and curatorial positions are [KPA edit: since] filled with non-white, mostly Indian (Asian) and Muslim staff. Most are also relatively new to these posts, stretching back about two years for the most senior.

The AGM's purpose of this newly restructured gallery is is to "build a whole new kind of art institution" as I wrote to a correspondent recently. What I mean by this is a gallery that exhibits and promotes works by non-white, non-Western artists.

I have a background in the arts both as a practitioner and as a researcher. I studied photography at Ryerson University, and painting and textile design through various courses and workshops in Toronto, including the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto.

I started a blog called Camera Lucida in 2005 to "explore and shed light on how art, and culture and society converge."

Several years later in 2013, I started a blog I titled Reclaiming Beauty "to document the contribution that beauty had made toward our Western Civilization," where I still continue to blog.

I believe that the AGM is building an institution that can expand into other regions in the province and the country, as a successful example of an art institution that reflects multicultural and ethnic art, and a gallery which has pushed to the sidelines, and even out of the gallery, works by what now Canadians are being regularly told "racist" white artists, and especially those which reflect a Canada of half a century to a century ago, which of course are almost exclusively white artists.

Mississauga's history originates as a "new city" built around the 1970s, as an ambitious vision by a white Canadian, Bruce McLaughlin, to separate this already existing small town from the influences of Toronto, and to build self-sufficient and independent city. Immigration and non-Canadian residents were far from his, and his colleagues' minds. The AGM itself was established in 1987, as a separate gallery, independent from big-city influences, or even the then encroaching multiculturalism, and its inauguration was celebrated with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York in July 1987.

I will present this historical material in my book on how a once confident city, with confident citizens, now has devolved into this multicultural outpost, almost forgotten by other regional centres, but which is quietly restructuring society and culture.

At some point it will gain some power and start to promote successful and prosperous multiculturalism as an example for other Canadian cities to follow.

The reality, though, is that Mississauga is far from success and prosperity, with some of the highest poverty rates in Ontario recorded in the city's non-white ethnic neighbourhoods, and a non-existent, true, "mosaic" of mixed multiculturalism, with an increasingly self-segregating population separating itself by race, ethnicity and religion. And the various socio-ethnic groups do not work together, in art or other cultural and social programs, especially where their "identities" are involved, and some are even antagonistic towards each other (Indian Hindu and Muslims, for example).

And the AGM would not exist were it not for the close to the third of a billion of dollars in governmental grants it receives annually to promote this artificial mosaic of integrated multiculturalism through its art exhibitions and art programming.

I propose that we co-author such a book, perhaps as part of a larger subject of the practical realities of multiculturalism in Canada, and use Mississauga as one (perhaps the most important) example of how things really do function when multiculturalism is the Canadian government's policy.

Sincerely,
Kidist Paulos Asrat

Dear Dr. Duchesne,

Thanks once again for your helpful comments.

Nonetheless, I will independently write and publish the book on Mississauga rather than produce a very much condensed article.

Mississauga is a unique place. It warrants a full book: a demonstration of how society devovles as rulers and leaders lose confidence in themselves and a government-mandated plan (Multiculturalism) to change society is forced on all policy makers, which they have to comply with if they want to keep their jobs and have some future to look forward to (retirement, children well-educated, mortgages paid off, etc.).

There was something exciting and fresh about Mississauga when it started out as a city built from the ground up - literally.

The saddest part of this bright history is the current demoralized population, both white and nonwhite.

For example, non-white residents and immigrants relate to their ancestral countries much more so now than a decade or two ago. Most of them are bitterly disappointed in Canada, where they have been unable to "integrate," despite tremendous efforts by government officials and policies to assist them to do so. And their children, the Canadian-born second generation, who are experiencing the same lack of integration, are militant in blaming the "racist" white culture that they fervently believe is denying them their "rights." Thus there is no integration, but increasing ethnic and racial self-segregation. And there is also a new (albeit weak) trend of a repatriation and return "home" by some.

But I believe all this is a good thing, a good sign, demonstrating the failures (and cruelty) of multiculturalism, not just to critics like me, but to ordinary people, which is forcing them to search for, and discover, authentic ways of living.

Here is where I can show systematically how we can all salvage what we have. Those who return to their countries of origin can reclaim their ancestry and abandoned homes. And those like me can reclaim the city as it was once envisioned by its pioneers.

I believe that Mississauga, because of its strange "outlier" geographical position, is a perfect blueprint to demonstrate all these points.

Thank you once again for your communication. All the best in your projects.

Sincerely,

Kidist Paulos Asrat

Matisse in Black: THIS IS CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!!!

Untitled
Nina Chanel Abney

Matisse is one of my favorite artists. I will recognize a Matisse anywhere, and also anyone who is "influenced" by him.

I found the above collage at This is Worldtown's instagram page where they're calling for art submissions:
thisisworldtown CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS

We are now accepting visual and written works by women of colour artists and storytellers on the theme Invisible Love.
Invisible Love :: Your mother never said it. Your first crush was the girl you couldn't tell. The love of your life you couldn't share with the world. The feeling of being desired but never wholly loved. The ways in which our chosen family cares for us. The way the love we desire is about undoing the patriarchy. The way we feel seen but not always loved. The way we feel love that isn't always seen.
And the artist is a black American woman (couldn't they find a black Canadian woman?):
Her first solo exhibition in a museum, Nina Chanel Abney: Royal Flush, opened at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in February 2017. Curated by Marshall N. Price, the exhibition included about 30 of her paintings, watercolors, and collages and spans 10 years of her work. The works contain a wide range of art historical references, including medieval icons, Northern Renaissance still lifes, and artists such as Henri Matisse and John Wesley. They illustrate narcissism, celebrity culture, the objectification of women, issues of race, and police brutality. [source]
Imagine using a Matisse collage to "illustrate narcissism, celebrity culture, the objectification of women, issues of race, and police brutality."

It is a clever re-creation. I suppose that the palm leaf over the black face's lips indicates "silencing." And the "xs" are "negation," but coupled wth the "os" and the hearts mean "love." There is also a bird in there - a dove? And a circle on the top left corner of the face which looks 3-D and could be a globe. And the triangles? Pointing direction upwards, a secularized reference to heaven? Or the supremacy of the (black) female (the big triangle "holds" the face); the Black Goddess? But then there's the red, clown's nose describing: "The way we feel seen but not always loved"?

But why Matisse? Again, couldn't Nina Chanel Abney find a black (American) woman artist to re-create her "message" filled collage?

THIS IS CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!!!

The Disappearance of Julie Chen

There is a lot to write about Julie Chen, who supported her CBS head honcho husband's, Les Moonves', adulterous life to maintain her media status in CBS. She hosted, or fascistically ruled, her crew and co-hosts at the CBS daytime gabfest talk show The Talk (and WHO thought up that mildly pornographic name??) through fear of repercussions from her powerful husband for anyone who digressed from her views (and wishes, and desires). Moonves had put Chen, his wife, it worth repeating, at the helm of The Talk. Two women were actually fired in the early days of The Talk because they grumbled about these nepotistic arrangements.

Chen left, or quit, when Moonves' historic indiscretions began to surface, even after their marriage, leaving her pathetic feminists minions at odds on how to deal with her departure. Moonves, their big boss CBS, became the ire of the #MeToo movement, and yet here was his wife (who married him after an affair when he ditched his first wife) embroiled in the very lifestyle they decried.

Hypocrites (on all parties) doesn't even begin to cover it.

Chen still runs that creepy Big Brother, another Moonves enterprise, where she earned her second-rate fame before The Talk, where psychopathic and sociopathic contestants live in the same house, with no exit, performing various "challenges" until there is a last man standing to carry off the 1 million dollar cash prize.

Sartre would have cringed at this appropriation. "Huis Clos! C'est pour l'éternité!!!" he would have wailed in his shocked French manner about his literary living arrangement. Not some exit with a cash prize.

Chen is pretty much how Asian women behave. They prefer to be in the background rather than upfront and target-prone, as Chen eventually became on The Talk. What exactly would they (she) stand for, and how would they defend their "positions" when pressed?

Clearly Chen was no champion for the American Woman. She was perfectly happy as the wife of serial adulterer Moonves (although she pretended to be some free woman) cashing in on all the spoils.

But the joke's on us (and all those minions). She was the ultimate "Big Brother" waiting out for the big cash prize. "But where's our Big Sister!!??" would wail her co-hostesses. She's run off with the money.

Julie Chen: Eliminated

I wrote about Julie Chen back in 2012 describing the way she got into the high echelons of t.v. programming.

- The Chinese Women/White Men Coupling Epidemic
Several high profile white men have taken up Asian wives. They often divorce their first, white wives, to marry the Asian women. Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, CBS Chairman Les Moonves, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have Asian wives. Murdoch and Les Moonves both divorced their first, white, wives before marrying their second, Asian, wives, although both had affairs with the Asian women while still married to their first wives. Mark Zuckerberg skipped the white wife period, since marrying an Asian woman is no longer a social anomaly, but it will be interesting to see how his marriage fares with his Westernized and Western-born Chinese-American wife. (2012)
- Julie Chen's Anti-White Woman, Multi-Culti Talk Show - With Attitude
...Julie Chen's failing show The Talk has a panel without a straight, white, American woman. The straight, white, American women she has (or had) on her show have some Jewish ancestry. Leah Remini is half Jewish from her mother's side and both parents of Marissa Winokur are Jewish. (2012)
Fast forward to 2018 and there still is no white woman with gravitas on "'The Talk."

Instead there is Sharon Osbourne whose claim to fame is her "heavy metal rocker" husband who bites off bats' heads in his concerts. And Osbourne is NOT an American white woman but sits there with her grating lower class English accent, which American white women cannot relate to. Osbourne is also half Jewish.

And Sara Gilbert, a lesbian "married" with three children (IV and other conception and birth methods), who is Jewish (on both sides).

Other members of this illustrious group are:

- Eve, a black hip-hop musician who is for her 2002 song “Let Me Blow Ya Mind, and who has acted in a t.v. production titled "xXx.”

- Sheryl Underwood, a black military woman and comedian, and "a lifelong Republican." However, she campaigned for Barack Obama's re-election in 2012. She also campaigned for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election "because," she says "we have to protect the legacy of President Obama. Low voter turnout benefits Donald Trump and the Republicans. He can't win."

These personalities are deliberately chosen to undermine the white majority of America, amongst whom are found the racist, sexist, homophobic and all round evil people who voted for President Trump. But Trump is not their ally and in fact is closer to Underwood than she thinks, and who has been capitulating towards liberals (and Democrats) since his election.

In the above video, the "ladies" at The View, after which the badly worded "The Talk" (that's what you do with your 12-year old) was molded chime in and with some humor by Joy Behar.

Chen also hosts Big Brother which she started before she married Moonves. Big Brother is a creepy show where a group of strangers live in the same "house" for a period of time as they get eliminated over "challenges." There is Survivor (a far superior show) which challenges people in some wild and remote island. But in the same house as people with no way of going out unless you're eliminated? Well for half a million dollars...

Bus Stop Roots and Demons

The caution against, protection from, which we should all practice relates to the insidiously over infiltration of the Devil. Many people are writing about this now. Here is an interveiw with by E. Michael Jones who talks about "the velocity of events...picking up" and especially regarding the Catholic Church.

I focus mostly on images around us: on posters announcements, magazine covers, store widows. Of course art, which is still "elitist," despite the liberal leftists' attempts to make it "ordinary," is the prime place where I have recorded this.

In any case, above is a poster I took of the Roots' clothing brand, and their poster/publicity on a bus stop shelter.

There is a palpable glow, especially around the howling face of the singer, almost like a halo, but more a sickly green than a redemptive gold.

The glass from the poster screen reflects the surroundings and you can see cars as they justle through the busy intersection as well as a historic building which is part of Mississauga's cityscape.

I thought the artist was a white female in cornrows. Multiculturalism and multiracialism is another way that the Devil gets into our culture and lives and makes it easier for us to accept its ways.

I looked up the singer's background. It was easy. Look at the name - KILLY. Yes that's his name, his rapper name from Khalil Tatem (and yes it is a male), a Filipino and Bermudan, now Canadian.

Album cover for Surrender Your Soul

The first two lines of his song Surrender from his debut album Surrender Your Soul are:
Runnin' with the wolves, split a pack of the 'Woods down
Wizard with my words and my lifestyle understood now
And
She no angel, she a scapegoat
he sings, with clear allusions to the goat of evil, in his track Doomsday. And continues:
I come alive
On dooms, doomsday

Image from Spotify single Doomsday
like the vampire with fangs

And in Killamonjaro (from Killy?)
I got a lot on my conscience
These demons, they callin', they teasin', they weighin' on me
(weighin', weighin' on me)

Image from single (on Spotify) of Killamongaro

He warns in Pray For Me:
I said pray for me or you prey to me

His Spotify (a digital music, podcast, and video streaming service) image has him with the Devil's horns, fangs, and a wizard's robe.

Ethnicity and Unity

From Lawrence Auster's The View From the Right, a discussion on ethnicity and unity.
Posted on January 8, 2010

More interesting discussion on the topic at the post.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kidist writes:

I think I may have told you this already, but I left Ethiopia (with my younger brothers and parents) when I was nine years old. My father was stationed in Paris, in UNESCO, and we were sent about six months later to England to attend boarding school in southern Kent.

I left for University at 17 to the States, and later, my Dad was posted in New York’s UNESCO office. Once I completed that education, we all immigrated for good to Canada.

So, I have lived most of my life outside of Ethiopia. My Western experience is extensive and full—I was in my school choir throughout my time in England, and later in college; I studied piano until I was 21; I kept on playing and singing for much longer; I studied both ballet (until 13) and modern dance (into my 20s). I speak (pretty good) French. While in Paris, I must have been the only Ethiopian girl who was a fixture in the museums and galleries.

When I came to Canada, I decided to leave behind my science studies (biology/human nutrition) and pursue a “cultural” degree. I went to film/photography school for four years. Disillusioned with “art” I left that and started my training in textile design.

Since then, I have been as immersed in culture as I can be.

This is what makes me unique amongst immigrants:

- My isolated childhood from other Ethiopians while in France and England.

- My love for and immersion in the greatest of European culture when still a young girl—English choral music, and French art galleries and museums.

- By the time I had arrived in the States and Canada, I was too impressed with European culture to accept people’s denouncement of its inferiority, its oppressive nature, and other negatives.

- Without being presumptuous, it is my Amhara background, which has a history of leadership and civilization, that helped me to make analogies with what whites are going through in a multicultural society, which wishes to destroy whites in order to equalize everyone. This is what the communist regime in Ethiopia tried to do to Amharas.

- Also, my art education—music, dance, film and visual arts—also immersed me into the incredible beauty and complexity of Western culture, which have shaped my views.

- Living in a densely multicultural city like Toronto, largely of anti-Western non-whites, made me realized how strong and pernicious this anti-Western sentiment is, and I removed myself from it.

This might make my positions and opinions a little clearer. I know it throws many people off, seeing a Third World person like me so accepting and at ease with Western culture. But, maybe I’m just unusual with that. As I said before, 99.99 percent of all immigrants from the Third World do not wish to, nor are they able to, assimilate into Western culture.

Hate Crimes

Via Kevin Michael Grace:

Source

And as an antidote to continue "creating" they start to refer to abstractions - geometry, shape and some color (although very few use color and often bland and muted colors) to produce works. Their ethnic references are too far away, and they are too alienated from their current country, and all that is left is the "structure" of the image: its shape, its empty outline.

"Dual Citizens, Dual Loyalties?”

What should Canadians make of dual citizenship?
Draft written in April 2009

After an episode on Television Ontario's The Agenda with Steve Paikin as host: "Dual Citizens, Dual Loyalties?"
On TVO, only a blog entry exists of the episode.

Immigration lawyer Ravi Jain, who is a first generation immigrant of Indian background, was recently on Steve Paikin's The Agenda panel on dual citizenship titled: "Dual Citizens, Dual Loyalties?” He was behaving in a manner typical of immigrants. He has an automatic, knee-jerk, expectation that the whole world (or more precisely, the non-Western world) is entitled to immigrate to U.S. and Canada, and once there, to obtain an uncontested guarantee of citizenship. I don't know why immigrants such as Jain (that is 99.9% of immigrants) never question the logic of their argument. Still, Jain is an immigration lawyer, so part of the answer lies in his professional background. He has to accept and support the concept of immigration to win his clients' cases. And if I were a little more cynical, I would have to say that it is a lucrative business being an immigration lawyer.

But this arrogant sense of entitlement goes deeper than career opportunism. I've thought long and hard about it, and I think that non-Westerners come to Canada or the U.S. (and to European countries as well) with a "they owe us" dig. Of course, this hails back to all the perceived insults and oppressions of the colonial period, and the American influence around the world since then.

The contradiction is that Jain's India is one of the more prosperous countries in the world, and I would say that it is thanks to the institutions the British left behind, and the economic benefits Indians reap from American businesses.

And the fact that many immigrants are opting for dual citizenship shows that their countries are no longer the dismal, economically non-viable back waters which they presumably left never to return to again.

The phenomenon of dual citizenship has been brewing for the past twenty years or so, with about 150 countries (including Canada and the U.S.) now accepting such a status compared to only a handful in the early 1990s.

I would like to say that claiming dual citizenship is a good thing. After all, if more Indians return to India, they will find much to attract them there, including living happy Indian lives with their relatives, their traditions, their cultures and the many beautiful things that are part of their Indianness. And then they will remain in India.

But what the modern non-Western immigrant does is keep all his options open. For Indians, it would be to live and enjoy their Indian life, but keep the other foot firmly planted in Canada, including encouraging (coercing) more, ever-increasing Indian immigration to Canada. And going through impossible hoops to change Canada into their version of a Nordic India (if ever possible).

The objectives of non-Westerners like Jain is not Canadian nation building, but the acquisition of the rights and privileges of living in a prosperous nation and to glean as much as they can from it. Such “Canadians” will never publicly admit this, but their hearts and minds, all the way down to their second and third generation offspring, are back in their ancestral lands. The “We Love Canada” mantra of many non-Western Canadians is easily dismantled when asked what their affiliations to their non-Western lands are, and more succinctly, if they have, or agree with dual citizenship.

This is the tidy(!) quagmire the thoughtless wielders of our immigration policies have come up with. A set-up for people like Jain, whose loyalties, despite his family living in Canada for multiple generations [Update 2018: Probably Jain is a "first generation" immigrant. There is no information on his family background anywhere], will always be as an Indian first (a non-Westerner), and when push comes to shove, a Canadian next. When pressed, "Why Canadian" his reply will eventually reveal that what he wants are the gains, and let’s face it, it is mostly economic gains, he will get from Canada. In the mean time, he will be busy working under the radar to make sure that this prosperous Canada will continue to be a temporary haven (or a displaced haven) for people like him, and for thousands more whose entrance to Canada he will facilitate.

This is the stark reality of non-Western "Canadians." Don’t listen to what they say, look at what they do.
